Candidates can follow the steps below to check and download the Karnataka PGCET Result 2026: 

  • Visit the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

  • Hover over the 'Admissions' tab on the homepage.

  • Select 'PGCET 2026' from the drop-down menu.

  • Click on the Karnataka PGCET Result 2026 or PGCET MBA Result 2026 link.

  • Enter your login credentials, such as the application number and password/date of birth, as required.

  • Complete the CAPTCHA verification and click the 'Login' button to view your result and download the scorecard.

KEA prepares the Karnataka PGCET merit list based on candidates' scores in the entrance examination. The candidate with the highest score is awarded Rank 1, while the candidate with the second-highest score receives Rank 2, and so on.

In cases where two or more candidates obtain the same score, KEA applies the prescribed tie-breaking criteria to determine the inter-se merit ranking. The tie is resolved using the following process:

  1. KEA first gives preference to the candidate with a higher aggregate percentage or marks in the qualifying undergraduate (UG) degree examination.

  2. If both candidates have the same aggregate score in the UG degree, the older candidate is assigned the higher merit rank.

  3. If the candidates also share the same date of birth, KEA resolves the tie through a draw of lots.
